These old beads were found in Ghana West Africa. Old Venetian beads such as these were brought to Africa throughout the colonial period for trade throughout the African continent. Blue beads such as these are less commonly found than other colors. This special strand includes two unusual designs strung together in a nice pattern on traditional raffia straw.
